Duke Jones Co-Founder & CTO
Duke is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at ReSource.
With his two decades of experience in software engineering and development, Duke has held senior positions at companies such as Amazon, Playstation Network, Dreamcatcher and GoPago (acquired by Verifone).
Duke co-founded Good Money, an innovative challenger bank that shares ownership with its customers. As Platform Architect and Head of Blockchain, he was responsible for designing and building the backend services that support Good Money's banking application. As Operational Director at The Economic Space Agency he designed crypto-economic systems using cryptocurrency and consensus-based networks to allow anyone to create programmable local economies.
With his established experience in Fintech, DLT and Cryptography, Duke oversees the development of all ReSource software and technologies, including the ReSource marketplace, the SOURCE token economy dApps, and the protocol’s stable unit of account, RSD.
Throughout his career, Duke has focused on redesigning financial and economic systems from generative principles, and the development of distributed systems for a collaborative future. As part of his inspiration and prior work for creating ReSource, Duke has designed the World Tree Network: a set of open protocols, similar to what underlies the current internet, for an interoperable, universal, and open network, with the purpose of giving everyone the ability to re-imagine and collaboratively redesign our culture and communications.
Duke holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Duke University.
